Default Bare 02 wrx shell w/cage, wrecked 99rs race car

Long story short, I wrecked my 99rs. I was able to get a 02 wrx bare shell, with existing cage for an affordable price.
The 02 is just the shell, and glass(sedan).
The 99 rolled, but all of the drivetrain is intact aside from one lateral link that got bent on recovery.
Certainly this is not a common swap, and I understand the 02 shell is heavier, yadda yadda. However, the price for the 02 shell and cage was extremely good...and I could not get into a gc shell and cage for anywhere close to the price. I have a pretty meager budget.
I intend to use as much as possible from the 99 including the wiring harness.

So some of my questions?
Will using the 99rs subframes front and rear cause any fitament issues? Ie, are the suspension arms too short? Any issues to be concerned with there.

Gas tank? Will the 99rs bolt up to the wrx chassis? I can get the wrx tank, if need be.

Steering column, with that fit in the wrx chassis?

Oddly enough a heater is required in the class I run. I can technically run an electric heater, but I do wonder if the rs heater box assembly would fit in the wrx chassis.

Any other foreseeable issues?(aside from being doga$$ slow).

Of course I'd love to have wrx parts, motor, but unfortunately it's not in my shoestring budget at the moment, unless a parts donor falls in my lap for cheap(I am looking). I'm more concerned about getting on the hill/track in a safe manner, than getting the fastest setup.
Thanks for any help you might have to offer.

No major issues. It will all bolt in. The wheels will be a little deeper in the wells with the shorter arms and links. You will have to cut new holes in the firewall for the GC heater box. The dash isn't a perfect fit, but if you mess with a few things you can get it to work.

If you want complete 02 wrx dash with heater box and all I have a spare one I will let go super cheap, but shipping would ruin the deal. I even have the 02 wrx column if you need that.

Given the shorter suspension arms, I don't see much of a difference. Very happy with the way it worked out.
