So this morning I got in my car and started it up and immediately it sounded different, a very hollow sound. I gave it the benefit of the doubt since it was a very cold morning.
After letting it warm up I headed out and heard a hollow/rubbery rattling especially at low rpm's and downshifts. It almost sound like I had a flat tire, so I pulled over, checked my wheels and they were fine. I popped the hood and didn't see anything really out of of place or loose. I carried on and it started up again. My thinking was it might be the CAI, because of the rubber boot at the end of the filter and the filter itself maybe being loose and hitting something. It didn't seem loose when I popped the hood, but that would explain the hollow and rubbery sound. Other than that I was thinking maybe a belt of some sort? I just got the air conditioning belts done maybe 3k miles ago. I am at 101k miles so maybe it's the timing belt? It's an 05 RS, 5speed Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Update: so drove it again this afternoon, let it warm up for a few minutes and heard no noises. You think it was just a cold start or is this something I should get looked at?
