Hi,

Sorry about being off topic, but I need advice from a local so here goes.

Are there any DSM mechanics that are as good as Bret or Braden? My GF's Eclipse has been taken to Quality Mitsu. and Mile High Mitsu. No offence intended, but they sucked. I could tell you lots of stories

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. My friend just bought a GS-T and I plan on kicking his butt. Will I have any problems? I already have a TXS chip so for now I have the edge. Any advice on this subject?

Again, sorry about being off topic.

Thanks,
Dennis

As far as local shops go.. I don't know any that I would have trusted to my DSM. I bet if you asked nicely, Braden would work on it for you.

There is another place up in the Littleton area called ACS Mitsu Pros or something. I have no experience with them, but a few of the DSM guys go there.

I don't know that I trust anyone with my DSM. I've done all the work on my Talon with some help from the more knowledgable folk in the CO DSM club.

As for beating your buddy with a gs-t. Being FWD it'll be hard for him to get a good launch. Once traction hooks up it could be all over, or he could be running you down. Stock for stock the DSM will lose. Modified, either could be faster; depends on how much money either of you puts into it

Thanks Guys.

As for my GF's car she gets shaking in her steering wheel when she brakes...any ideas on that? I was thinking warped rotors. She has no ABS.

As for my friend's GS-T, we had a rilvalry between our previous cars (both N/A sport compacts). So, its "on" again. It should be fun. Good thing I just got a better job.
