Default So fresh and so clean

Finally got off my lazy bum and washed off the pollen and bird pile collection I had going on, and decided to take a few pics while I was at it...

Hopefully this works...

The lovely high quality Fuji Industries paint...

Mods thus far are:

Vishnu Stage 0 (impatiently waiting for stage 1 )
Tanabe Lowering Springs
17" Rota Tarmac Rims w\Dayton tires
Tint, Alarm, Boost Gauge
Chipping paint
Grouding Mod
Debadged

Basically all the cheap mods, since I'm too poor to be owning this car

Arg...your paint is looking worse than mine. My car's white though, so it really stands out.

:monkey: FHI's paint!

Car looks nice though. I have some gunmetal wheels coming any day now. I left the sideskirts unpainted b/c I think it'll make the wheels look better...now I know it does! Don't paint em!

thx guys

Dori Dori, I agree with the sideskirt bit, and don't plan on painting them. Put up some pics when your new rims are on, I'd like to see. Where is your paint chipping?

I've only had the springs on a few weeks, but I do feel I need an alignment. The driving just feels a tiny bit off; not much though. WRXTuner.com who I bought them from said he didn't feel like he needed an alignment though, so I guess it depends on who you ask. I was just glad to get rid of the ghastly wheel gap this thing had stock. The bumps and idiosyncracies of the ***** New York roads I drive on deffinitely are more pronounced however, but I still feel for 220 beans or so, lowering the car 2 inches is a cool looking\worthwhile mod, and probably even more so after I get an alignment and driving is as accurate and precision as it was before (if not more so). The install wasn't too hard, and was done by amateurs (me and a friend) in the same driveway I installed the Stage 0 in, and was done within a couple hours. Worst case scenario, the struts on my car get shot from the funky springs, and I have to buy new, upgraded parts.... man wouldn't that be a tragedy!

The drop is 2 inches. Makes a world of a difference in the way it looks (at least to me). I dunno for sure if the 2 inch drop will damage the struts or not, although I heard that it did. Worst case scenario they do, and I have to spring for some nice coilovers... Guess I'm a guinea pig for now.

After washing it I retardedly stumbled upon a dirt road later in the evening while my rally enthusiast friend was with me, and now I have to wash again , although it was quite fun.

Edit = changed pics so that my license isn't showing. Don't exactly know the reason why people do it but there must be some reason...

They look pretty light for black. I have a pic of some black ones which are jet black an shiny. Perhaps they painted over them.

The rims are the gunmetal Rota Tarmacs, I bought them WRXTuner I think. It's hard to tell from pictures for some reason, they do look dark I agree. Maybe I shoulda photochopped the pic to make the whole picture a little lighter. If you see the black ones it's really noticeable that they are black when compared to the dark gunmetals, like in the pics here (a hot car btw):

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=188350

I think I'm gonna wind up getting rid of these rims and tires though in favor of buying some rota attacks because they are so light, since I want to make a few more trips to the drag strip.

O no I just realized I didn't blur out my plate number like everyone does... I'm screwed!

Ahhh, thanks for the confirmation. They ARE pretty close to black, but side-by-side comparisons show the difference.

Hehe, I'll buy your rims...name your price!

You really wanna buy them? I'll sell 'em to ya, but I don't wanna see either of us sacrifice a kidney to get them shipped Also I haven't order the Attacks yet, and I sold my stockers recently when I got the new wheels put on, so it would have to be after I order the Attacks and get 'em slapped on. Aside from two trips on dirt, they've never been really "used" used; I was running on my stockers when I went to the track. They have about 600-700 miles on them so far. No damage yet, heh. Paid 5 and change for the rims, 2 extra hub centric rings for the back tires like 16 bucks, 5 and change for tires and having them set up, roughly a little under 1100 total, would sell them for 875? is that fair or is that too much since they've been used? More? less? I dunno I'm not used to selling things

Yeah, that's probably a little much with new ones under $1000 with tires. Besides, the shipping....

Thanks for the pix, though. I have a blue WRX too, so it's nice to see what my car would look like with those rims!
