Default Hagerstown/Martinsburg area Mach V Caravan

This is the thread for planning those Hagerstown and possibly some Martinsburg guys heading down to Mach V. We are meeting about the same time we always do, about 815-830 and leave shortly after. The route will probably be I70E to US15S to VA7E. Shouldn't be any questions, if there are call or text if you have my number or PM.

I'm in, duh...put me in. Some of the other groups want to meet up for a massive caravan too. Talking about meeting at the park and ride right by the dogfish head in Gaithersburg. On the way and close to the interstate.

As for Dogfish Head, it's a possibility there would be just a bit of back tracking after getting off 495 to 7. If we have a small group shouldn't be a problem at all. We can always talk about it at the Corner Pub.

Or, instead of Dogfish and being somewhere closer to 495/270, how about Montgomery Mall? It's more on the way and kind of more convenient for all montgomery county goers, wherever they may be coming from. That's where the MoCo caravan met up last year, worked out pretty well.

We're meeting up with them off of 270...Gaithersburg Dogfish Head...well the park and right just on the otherside of I-270 from DFH. A bit of backtracking if Montgomery people wanted to join.

I guess the mall could work too so that the MoCo kids can join

Or just screw it all and meet any Frederick guys and just enjoy cruising down 15. Saves 20 miles and 20 minutes

You do know that Gaithersburg is Moco County...right?

I'd rather meet at Dogfish Head Alehouse. Montgomery Mall makes me want to get a M1 Abrams and mow the mall down.

But he's the typical DC area driver that thinks a 20 minute drive is a burden

A mall on a saturday morning could suck. That's why I suggested the empty park and ride originally.

I'm down for whatever though, last year meet for caravan at mont mall was perfect, very empty mall and no problems whatsoever. I just didn't want people around Mont. Mall to backtrack haha. I'm fine with either though, Gaithersburg is closer for me anyways.

maybe the massive caravan has just turned into a headache...there really is no point to it.

I'm game either way.

The massive caravans are fun, but they can be just as much of a pain. The more cars you have the more problems you have keeping everyone together, and if everyone doesnt know there own way that turns into a hassle of having to wait on people.

Karma, i have never been to there new shop so i fall into the categorie of i dont know where im going

Dont let me factor into your decision, if you want to meet up with other people go ahead. I dont know for sure if my car will even be done, so i dont want anyone making plans involving me when i cant give a yes on going for sure.

I completely agree...thinking about it; meeting up twice and then having moco guys not wanting to drive back up and then having the hassle of rolling in a big group and hassle of all waiting to park as we arrive at the same time and it being a longer drive and...

bad idea

Well right now, the caravan is not too huge at the moment. Only 6 or 7 cars. When it gets to 10 or 11, I think I may just go down there myself.

bumping this non-caravaning group...

caravan is just a headache and going down 15 is shorter and probably a bit quicker.
