hey guys, well finally got my car back about a month ago. Long story short my fourth cylinder pretty much had no compression. My stock turbo was making weird noises one day it sounded, and felt like a boost leak. A few days later he told me that the turbo was done, i wish i had pictures, but the fan blades were all bend, and the tips had broken off, the housing was destroyed, and there was a lot of movement on the blades. Well I was like cool, im looking for a turbo upgrade anyways. Then i was told it sounded a little off when he started it, so he wanted to do a compression test. Yup needed a new engine, so i went through Ralli Spec, and this is my set up...

Ralli Spec Custom Built Short Block
Manley 4340 Steel H Beam Conrads
Costworth forged pistons
Uprated main and rod bearings
FP Red Turbo
ACT Clutch
U-tek EMS
Perrin FMIC
Perrin Big MAF
Perrin Down Pipe
HKS Hi-power exhaust
HKS SSBV
850cc Dwerks
Walbro 255 fuel pump
AEM wideband/boost/oil pressure

After the whole break in process was complete i was finally able to tune her, and she made 384.58whp and 366.37tq. Boosting at 21.07 PSI I wanted around 4, but i am completely satisfied with these numbers. My next upgrades will be here next week new Tein springs, and coilovers. Eventually I am looking for Meth injection within the near future.

I had a couple videos, i just dont know how to upload them
thanks for looking!

Nice build. Looks pretty good. Can you resize the dyno plot so it shows the RPM and AFR's? Was this on 93oct?

Nice setup but those are low numbers for a Dyno Jet. Not trying to take away from your accomplishments but i think your car has a very consevative tune for the mods that you have. I would expect to see upwards of 400hp in a Dyno Jet. I'm rebuilding and FP RED for my 06 sti and would have some data to compare come spring time. Congrats to the OP.

That is pretty sick man. I am going to be putting a Fp red on my 06 STI as well and I am pretty stoked on it.

How is the over all drive ability with the red and the six speed?

385 on 21psi sounds right to me. Im sure if he was pushing about 24ish he'd be over 400

Thanks guys! I love the FP red its pretty smooth, theres a little bit of lag, but its not enough to make a huge difference. I would def recommend the red. Ive only been driving with it for about a month, but i love it. I was hoping to get a little over 400, but im thinking with meth i will def be into 4. Yes, I am running on 93oct. When he printed the dyno plot from the computer i took a picture of it on my phone and emailed it to myself, so ill just take a beter quality pic. ITs funny because i said when i had my engine built, and the few upgrades i wanted i would be done, but i want more!

hope this ones better

I'm assuming that your tuner limited you to 21 till you upgrade your MAP sensor, which is a good and responsible thing.
But I think you can easily hit 400whp if you move to 22-23psi, which I don't think will be huge problem on your octane.

I doubt you'd feel the difference between what you have now and 400 hp. Like most people on this site had reiterated thousands of times before, numbers are just numbers---given that dynos are different wherever you go, those numbers are ultimately just an arbitrary scale. Congratulations on the new power and upgrade but I'd recommend appreciate what you have now then consider later what you can do further. More power is insignificant if you don't know how to handle it.
