anyone every put a stock WRX cat back on a Legacy?

It will work with minor modification. You will have to have a muffler shop add a short piece and either cut your flange off of your stock midpipe, or custom make a flange. We put one on a '02 Outback sport the other day (which appears to have the exact same cat-back as all other 2.5's) and that's what we had to do to make it work. The shop charged $60 IIRC, but you should probably be able to get it done for $40 or so. The car sounded nice. Not real loud, probably very similar to adding a SPT muffler. The car (according to owner Beckles and mainly according to her guy Matt in FL) felt a little stronger. Anyhoo, that's it.
