Question WRX muffler fit 2002 Outback?

Does the WRX muffler fit 2002 Outback Legacy? I can pick one up real cheap and wondered if anyone had tried it....just the muffler with dual tips

Hmmm...I don't think so, not w/out some modification.

I'll installing the complete WRX exhaust in my 96 OB and had to lengthen the pipe just before the muffler assembly.
Also, I'd think that the diameter would be greater on the WRX plumbing.

Question

So in other words, it is no different than going with a Universal muffler, eh?

Either way, you still have to get a reducer for it, unless you go completely "cat back" instead of just the muffler.
