Default 2002 2.5rs Cat Problems...

I have a cracked cat on my 2002 2.5rs. The car just straight sounds like a dune buggy. I took it to Midas today and they told me a drop in replacement cat would be like 500 bucks and with labor and everything it was almost 700...

I'm looking at other cats on the internet and I'm wondering what the best route would be. Would I be better off getting a whole new piece like this...

Or just the cat like this..?

Any input is appreciated

you could probably get a brand new OEM cat section for 700, that's what's bad. Don't go back to that midas.

You did the right thing!!! By replacing the entire catpipe, you'll get much better exhaust flow through both new cats. Not like it's gonna make your car a hot rod, but some better gas mileage and such for sure.
