ohhhh Matt. Rob said he will be stage two by race time. Buhbye everyone.

Hopefully you'll be able to hear my car running (not spinning ) this time. Now with a louder noise-maker!

At least you have grabby seats now. I want grabby seats.

Anyone have any experience swapping seat skins/covers? I should probably just get a new driver seat, but I don't want to lose my headrest speakers.

Scott - I've got a hitch now adding weight, so according to my calculations, you will now be only .01 behind me

Matt - Bring it!!

And yeah, Rob is gonna KILL us!

Nick - Seat upholstery isn't too bad. It's just time consuming. Lots of little clips to remove/replace. I pulled my back seat all apart to run the cover through the wash after my dog puked in it. Actually worked really well!

We're still deciding. We're looking at 09 Fozzies, but my hire-on pay is a lot less than we originally thought. So I don't think a new car is in the budget unless I got rid of the blue beast. And I think it'd be difficult to find a buyer who wants to spend $4k for an LGT with 187k miles. It's not worth it, for us, to let it go for less than that.

Good idea is good.

PS-Anyone need a rear seat for a 00-04 LGT Sedan? We're getting ones from an 03 so that we have the LATCH system for car seats.

We normally park in the back by the garages on the concrete. Also, the Des Moines/Ankeny folk normally meet up at the Casey's in Bondurant before we head out as a small group. There are normally about 5ish cars that make the trek together if you'd want to join in.
I'm looking forward to giving it a go. I'll do my best to keep up with you speedracers.

What time does everybody meet up at Casey's in Bondurant? And what's the cost to run?

Address for whoever needs it:
Casey's General Store
1 (515) 957-8173
1455 Grant St SE, Bondurant, IA 50035-2076
http://m.google.com/u/m/xLB5Jr

We will leave Casey's by 7:45am at the latest. It will be Matt, Scott, Chad, maybe Rob if he doesn't go earlier, and me meeting up this time around.

It is $20 or $25 to run all day; I can't remember which it is. Depending on the weather and how many people show up, we normally get around 5 runs in. There might be some extra time for fun runs at the end of the day.

It's $25 per driver.

If we can get the same spot again, that'd be awesome. I'm considering just rolling the StarSpecs up there to get them scrubbed in so we'll see...that way we wouldn't need to bring both cars

Other than the fact that that's the day of the Subaru Shootout and I'm supposed to be in Chicago that Friday night I may be able to make that work.

Sounds like it is going to be the biggest "Subaru" crowd yet, too.

I am going to head up and be theree when the gates open to get the spot for the canopy and all our stuff. On a side note why the hell did Subaru put 4000 bolt on the stock heat sheild. My gaskets came into today so I will be stage 2 tomorrow, Plus I like the fact that my doner car was a New Mexico car. All the bolts came out without any issues.

Those stock heat shields are definitely a pain to take off!

I may try to hit up an autocross in NY when I'm out there in August, but the track looks to be a little less forgiving than M'town if you go into a corner too hot:

Would anyone going to Marshallbahn like to borrow my camera mount. You can use any digital camera or camcorder with it. It'll only work for people with detachable headrests though.
