If you are talking about a Forester DD, not a lot. I buy salvaged Subarus and part them or fix and sell them. The one I just lost the auction had 300k and a good body, I was only willing to go to $500 on it and it sold for $700. I prob should have went more but it most likely needed a motor.

I will back up in Des Moines tomorrow and I am ready to get to autocrossing

I was there this weekend, no Fozzies. But there is a phase2 Forester at wrench and go with the motor in it. But it always a risk to use a salvage yard motor.

I'll be dropping by the Autocross at the fairgrounds, but the WRX is getting the trans taken out shortly after. Anyone not autocrossing is welcome to help. We'll be at Kristi's probably starting around 1pm.

I hope to see a lot of you out at the fairgrounds getting your autocross on! Once the WRX has all of it's driveline issues fixed, I'll be out enjoying some cone action too.

PS-Anyone with a detachable headrest can use my camera mount. I'll drop it off when I drop by (hopefully around 11).

Let me know
I have an 05 STI with the Cobb TBE Installed. Ill be at the April Spools meet next Saturday (4-2) if you're planning on coming out.

Had a blast today, think that the wagon is going to hold up great for the season. Thanks Tony for the use of the helmet and camera mount, also for letting Jeff ride in your car. I will get a video up when I get a chance.

Glad you had fun Rob (and Scott and Tony)! Pete and I got to meet some new subie owners today, so I'm glad we got a chance to come watch for a bit. Be on the lookout for Eric, Justin, Levi and one other new guy.

The transmission removal went smoothly today and thanks again to Kristi for use of the lift. Hopefully Cottman can get my trans figured out and then I'll be out autocrossing!

Brandon, good luck getting the Fozzie fixed!

You looking for a place to leave it parked for the week or for daily use? If you are looking for a place to leave it parked for a week you are more than welcome to leave at my place - either in the drive or in the open spot at the end of my drive...

I went to spectate the auto-x event yesterday. Shortly after I left a yellow lotus crashed during a fun run. Horrible news.

I thought I saw you there.

And the Lotus incedent wasn't during a fun run, it was during the competition. I'm not going to say much more since the details are still getting worked out. It was sad to see though.

Damn. That still sucks. My friend Andy called me and let me know since I was already gone. Wished I would have stay atleast 10 minutes longer.

Looks like me (02 wrx), my brother (06 wrx), a buddy (04 wrx) will be attending the meet up there on the 2nd. Are people driving to the IC meet after this one? I think we're also going to stop by there on the way back.

So about the ISC + NSOC meet. It looks like Anita, IA is the location we'll go with.
Visiting their state park and then perhaps get some grub.

Current Sunday dates that are being considered are.

May 8th
June 5th
June 19th

Please provide some feedback on dates soon, so we can better pick one.
