Anyone here have a flat bed and willing to help move my wagon to the Quad Cities in June? I'm willing to cover all fuel expenses and will pay cash for your time. I have no problem buying food and beer also.

I will be going - I think we have a pretty good crowd planning to go but I can't remember who all has said they were going.

Was wondering if that is the part behind the gas tank mounted to the left of the spare tire well under the car. I think I had everything hooked up right, will double check tomorrow.

Any information would be great
That could easily have to do with that purge solenoid you were talking about earlier. There's a small Tee near it with a couple hoses. You can see it in Ed's link. Make sure everything is hooked up up there. There's also a connector on the purge valve near the canister behind the wheel. Mine had a broken wire and was throwing codes - but I believe that would be a different code than P0457.

If I had a truck and trailer I'd help out Loi, but I don't.

John said he'd probably go to Oskaloosa, too. The pre-registration page is always linked from the DMVR page. Not sure if my copy/paste is going to work:

I don't know if any of you watch Fifth Gear, but the latest episode has a 911TT vs. GT-R shootout, the new 6 series convertible and a Litchfield Type C going around the 'ring. Win.

Ed, are they actually on TV/Cable or just watch videos online? If they are on TV what channel can you catch them on?

About 6:30 am. Oh, you mean the Des Moines guys!

It sounds like I will be joined by a few guys from Mason City. Unfortunately the Blue WRX from Mason City that was at the Ramsey show will not be attending because of clutch issues

I'll bring my pop up canopy. Torquey rear-wheel drive V8's vs. turbocharged all-wheel drive Subarus. Maybe it really will be the day of the Subaru at the Marshallbahn.

It already was the day of the subaru (aside from 1 or 2 exceptions). This will be just that much more awesome!

I don't know how I feel about my first autocross experience in this car being on a wet track. With that said, I'm guessing a lot of people won't show up if it is supposed to rain = more track/seat time in the fun runs. I can always just drive half speed until I start to figure it out.

I love how I talk myself into doing stuff.

Most people should do this regardless of rain. Too many don't, though, and that is where they get in trouble. I know the track pretty well and I still go easy my first run or two in order to see how my car is gripping the surface that day.

Yep. Like I've said before, I never push the car as hard as I can. It just isn't worth it to me. I would like to eventually learn the limits of the car, though.

I'm guessing 50* on even colder, wet pavement could lead to be pretty exciting with summer tires?

Remember last year when the RX7 and the Sentra passed us all in points? They showed up on the rainy day with like 10 people total.

The way NQS does points is FTD gets 50, 2nd fastest get 49, 3rd gets 48 and so on. If you are dead last slowest on a day with 10 people competing, you still get 40 points! Thats hard to do on a day where there are 35 people competing!

I am going even if the track is flooded!

$25 sounds right to me. The SCCA race there was $35 for members I think, and NQS was $10 less if I remember correctly.

I'm fairly certain it's $25 as well.

Did anyone decide on a time for DSM people to meet at the Caseys in Bondurant?
