I lost left front wheel bearing on the way home. I started hearing a pop on the last 2 laps. I allready pressed in a new one and put new cold plugs in. Also found ot that aftermarket camberbolts suck. That is what was causing the rubbing on Eds last lap. I have to pull over, remove rear wheel, loosen camber bolts and put it back where it was and get back on the road. New build is going to have some growing pains.

First lap was simi dry/wet and I was almost 6 seonds faster than my fasest lap last year.

I was already 45 minutes late for the wedding due to random asshattery at the grid (Jeffe knows what I'm talking about). I was obviously flustered because I thought I did 2 laps when I only did one

At any rate, we had to bail pretty quickly (so I didn't get to say my goodbyes *sniffle*) - we made it ... an hour late ... but still early enough to not miss anything important.

The day was awesome! I would have been cool witha couple more dry runs, but this was a lot of fun too! It was AWESOME watching Nick test the ol' limits on the final run.

How do you go through wheel bearings so fast Rob!? Didn't you just replace those? Or did you swap in the ones from the WRX?

Thanks Jeff.

I'll just say I turned my car into a lawn mower. I pushed it a little too hard on the last run (twice), and with all of the standing water on the course, it turned into the little engine that couldn't. I literally took it for a spin.

It was my fault, I only replaced the one oem and with the massive camber I was running I should have replaced both

Crap, I was thinking they were done after 3 runs. I knew I should have stuck around.

The WRX felt ok on the track. I was several seconds behind the other WRX guys (though I was the "stockest" car there) and my personal best in the RS. I can't wait get my engine rebuilt and other issues taken care of and see where the car is then.

He's in the Non-V8 Race class, so it's ok (for most of us except Rob). That thing is stupid fast - the acceleration is unreal...

No kidding. I was a few cars behind him so I got to see him coming through the hairpin and heading down the long straight. He definitely had plenty of torques.

Torques galores! That thing is snappy! Can't wait for a dry day - I think there is time to shave.

Oh and obligatory shakes fist at something!
