Haha, nice try. Suberman had a cape, you don't. There is no way you two are the same person. Case closed.

Subarman throws the scent off the trail to figure out his true identity by driving a Honda/Acura and a DSM. Wat.

I think that screen test should morph into a club-wide production. Next meet, lets make Suberman: The Bro-ginning

Hey all, if anyone is looking for an engine for parts or complete rebuild, let me know. A friend of mine just let me know they lost the motor in their 2002 WRX and they are swapping in a new one instead of a rebuild. It is the original motor from the car with around 145K on it. She said they new motor is coming complete with turbo, so old motor should be complete plus turbo for anyone interested. It has no compression on 2 and 4.

They have not done the swap yet, but once it is done they will be looking to get rid of the old motor if anyone is interested.

I may be interested in some of the parts. I just got a shortblock a few weekends ago, but there are a few extra parts I wouldn't mind having on hand. Shoot me a PM when he knows how much he wants for everything.

Hey guys, i know this isnt exactly the right place to post this, but i didnt get any responses when i posted before. I live in Iowa City and am looking for a shop that would put on a catless downpipe and uppipe for me. Every muffler shop around the area has told me they wont touch anything that involves removing a cat. At this point i would be willing to drive a little ways if anyone knew a shop that could do it?

Thanks alot for your help!!

My wife just picked me up a new toy for my birthday next week.

A little 1987 Yamaha QT50 (Yamahopper)
Currently it is with her and her parents near Cedar Rapids, can't wait to ride it.

Will let you know as soon as I hear more from her.

On a side note, my Blue Batmobile overlays showed up today! Now I need to find time to wash the car and get those installed!

Hey, I'm from Tiffin... Theres a shop in Cedar Rapids, called Big Jims... He'll do about anything for cash and he's pretty good at what he does, I've heard.

Freakin sweet! I used to have one of those. Handy tip: Don't take it off any sweet jumps. The frame will bend like it just don't care.

Also, if you need some extra HP in those high speed drag races, kick the air cleaner off. It will lean out the mix and let you gain 1-2MPH!

Haha, I'm going to try to squeeze some more power out of it to get around Ames. People have been telling me to get the injectors from the 60cc Yamahas to get it over 30.

Sadly, I was only able to salvage a few pictures from ze Marshallbahan (low light conditions don't make for sharp pictures). My photo session was cut short because of the rain so I only have pics of Nick and Rob's first runs. Enjoi!

Why not just do it yourself? Also, do you have a new tune ready to flash on your ECM? This is a must for changing those two items..

The reason that shops will not do anything is because it's against federal laws to remove a cat from a working system.. They don't want the liability on their hands, can't blame them.. Doesn't mean that you can't find someone willing to do it.

Yes i have an accesport and am ready from an engine management standpoint, I just need to order parts/see where i can have the work done. I thought about doing it myself but after buying ramps and dealing the the hassle of working in my tiny garage i decided it was worth a little extra money to have it done hassle free by a pro.

This club has more pros than most shops. I've never done those pieces on a Subaru (yet), but there are several people on here that have.

Pick up a bellmouth downpipe, catless uppipe and some gaskets and come to one of our install/uninstall days speaking of which, we should plan one again sometime soon!
