Question Regarding race spotting?

The other night while approaching this sick 2 mile stretch of twisty, banked divided road near my home there were three cars stopped in the left lane. The right lane was clear so I slowed and eased my way up to the light so I wouldn't have to stop. Ya know, a slow roll so when the light turns I could hit 1st and take off.

Anyway, turns out the 1st car in the left lane was a Integra Type R. Really nice one too I might add. Not riced out...just dropped with exhaust, nice wheels and clear markers.

Needless to say this guy hit it hard and immediately threw on his hazzards. OK, that's normal but he kept his hazzards on the entire time. Is that common practice? Needless to say there was no way in hell I was going to follow this guy through the turns at his speed with my stock wheels and RE92's so I got smoked.

He probably thought you were trying to race him and decided to teach you a lesson.

some people need to do that to validate themselves. Like me.

Question a lesson

In all seriousness, when I took off I had no idea he was there. I wasn't looking to race at all.

But keeping the hazzards on for like 2.5 miles...is that normal?

And just to give you an idea. I was moving at 65 around turns that most drivers take at 35. This dude had to have been going like 75-80 and I could see him sideways 'round the turns and then correct and take off through the straights.

He was a very good driver with a pretty big set.
