Dasteks are nice, one of my favorite dyno's. Tough to find in the states though.

this thing is going to be fast as hell.

might be worth running some longitudinal strakes through the rear diffuser to generate a couple vortices

would LOVE to hear the final weight on it once it's done!

I don't imagine it'll be as light as it should be tbh. The front brakes are pretty huge & heavy beasts, the 6 speed adds an extra 30kg, and the dry sump system holds 9ltrs of oil.

Spent the entire day yesterday having the geometry set up done. Few sensors to wire in and a few odd jobs to do tomorrow and hopefully we'll get her fired up for the first time.

Hoping then to run her in on the dyno on Wednesday and all being well mapped on Thursday. Plan to use VPower (99 RON) and a 20% methanol mix.

Ready through this whole build. Great quality parts and wicked build in general. This thing should be a beast on the track!

Cough cough & splutter splutter but unable to get her going today. Fuel pump relay (brand new) isnt working & TPS sensor needs re-wiring. What with those couple of hiccups and calibrating everything into the ECU we ran out of time today. Should hopefully have some more positive news for you tomorrow.

Much better look I think with the white wheels rather than the black set.

Front end almost finished. Just need to spray the trumpet black and cut a slit in the other fog cover for the tow strap.

Well, after a long struggle we finally have a map on it. Crank wheel, cam pulley, and misfire issues etc etc etc have taken a while to sort through. Have to say the car is a complete animal. Power delivery is phenominal and will no doubt scare the crap out of me to begin with.

As I have my first trackday at Brands Hatch next weekend, a conservative map has be put on it to try and make it as less responsive as possible and give me a chance to get used to it. Remember, this is my first Impreza.

Was mapped to 1.5 bar on VPower and made 548bhp.

Damn, this is a pretty epic, big money build. I would love to see more shots of the under-chassis though - especially of the aero.
