Couple of pics from Silverstone this weekend. Event was a sprint series I've entered. Still learning the car and spent half the day spinning around on the grass all good fun tho.

Cars currently running 500/480 while I get used to it but it's been properly mapped now up to 1.5 bar and made 587bhp. Should make 700 when mapped to it's full potential.

Thanks for the comments. Hope you like the pics

An amazing car. You certainly worked hard to get it to this point. I really like the front splitter. Did you fabricate it yourself? Can you share some info about it please?

Tom it's made from 2mm ali and goes from the front and then shaped to the level the front wheels start. It bolts onto the arch's and the front main pillars. Attached to the front bumper using approx 15 screws and L shaped brackets.

I've been messaging the Syvecs guys lately. I'm curious to get one of their D-AVCS units, though it won't be soon. Too many other things on the plate.

What are your thoughts on it? Did you do the tuning? Comparisons to other units?

Thanks,
Micah

Syvecs, IMO is the absolute daddy of ECU's.

It basically does everything other than drive the car for you.

You won't be disappointed.

yeah, I was looking for a slave ECU that I can run on various formats for the various engines I deal with. Makes dyno time much easier!

Thanks guys.

This year has been fun......and scary at times :d

Been basically trying to learn how to drive the car all year with a malfunctioning brake system which has led to having hardly any brakes at all. At lease I have an excuse for spinning the bloody thing everytime I've taken it out so far.

Had a little go at drag racing last month. 11.72 @ 116mph with a 1.6 60ft. The intercooler hasn't been efficient enough so the ecu has been pulling all the timing out the car.

I was meant to be doing a sprint this weekend but the cars out of action now until the issues are sorted. I've got a friend working on the pedal box to try and get the brakes working and I've bought an rs500 style intercooler to deal with the charge temps.

Next outing is the 15th sept. I'll let you know how it goes on the new set up.
