Default Thanks Jason (Medamullet) and Keith Astley(not sure of screen name)

They tuned my car for my VF39 last night and all I can say is WOW! The car pulls like a freight train. If I remember correctly I'm sitting at 266 whp and 278 wtq on the Airboy dyno. Thanks a bunch guys! Oh and thanks again for helping me install the turbo Jason. I couldn't have done it without you.

^^^lol don't say that, i'm going to be installing a turbo, and injectors, while lance does the fab work for the ewg so Jason can tune it. been memorizing the diy for a turbo swap, we'll see how it goes.

did you replace any studs when you did it? i'm wondering if i'll need new ones but the turbo has been taken off in the last 10k miles at most so hopefully it's not too rusted or seized up.

I just did mine a last month, it really isn't bad at all, if you have decent mechanic skillz/remember where things go haha you will be fine.

I have to say I was a bit nervous to do it myself and I did spill a decent amount of coolant from the line to the turbo but it wasn't bad.

edit: on the remember how things go back on I put the hose line with the "T" backwords when re-installing, which I think is why I was only running 13.5 lbs. make sure (if you are using one) to put the restrictor back on the right side haha

The only studs there were Jason and me haha. JK, no we didn't have to replace anything but gaskets. We used a little PB blaster and everything broke loose nice and easy.

Nice, Steve!

When I finally pull the trigger on a new setup, I'll have to see what they can do with it.

^^i've learned the hard way that trigger can be about 3x as much as your initial in head estimate lol. but i'm stoked as well. i'll try and get the turbo on this week so i can get a break in tune this weekend and then the real tune next week.

Well, I've already got the FMIC, 750cc injectors (might upgrade those), one step colder plugs, etc......I think it's just gonna be getting the turbo and tuning for it, for me...but that's a few months out.
