Default tec-3 iac

Has anyone used the iac with the tec-3 yet? I am getting a kicking motion at closed throttle, the book says to check the iac. Does anyone else have this problem? If I give it gas then cut it back in any gear, more so in the lower ones, it will buck like I am on a bull. I am afraid that this will brake my trans one day.

Thanks,
Rangere7

What do you mean a kicking motion at closed throttle?

Around what RPM's does this happen?

are you using the TEC as a full standalone, or piggybacked to the factory ecu?

On a Subaru, you are far better of leaving the stock ecu controlling idle and the a/c, and let the TEC do the rest
