Unhappy Anyone ever get a dent above the rear fender (08+ STI)

Well, last weekend I came out of Target to find a carriage parked against my passenger side rear fender. I'm trying to schedule an appointment with the PDR man to see if he can get it out. He said it might be a 50/50 chance that he can get it out due to it being in a bad location. Anyone have any experiences with getting dings here?

That's a tough dent spot. I have at least one on the body line of my 02. I've talked to a friend whos parents own a body shop and he said it was possible to get out. I assume this has a good chance of being fixed also.

I hate it when that happens. Happened to me once and luckily I was sitting in the car when it happened. Some guy in his truck just swung his door open and it slammed into my door shaking my whole car. It cost his insurance 600 bucks to fix it. Sorry, don't mean to hijack your thread, but just wanted to get that out cuz I hate it when stuff like this happens.

You know, if you went in and complained after it happened you probably could have got them to pay to fix it. My brother's wife had a similar experience at wal-mart an she went in and complained and they paid to fix it.

It feels like the two pieces of the fender form right behind the fender liner. So, not sure what they'll be able to do.

I would if it was Targets fault, but it wasn't. It was the douche bag lady with a kid who couldn't handle the extra 3 feet of walking because she might break a sweat.

The PDR guy was able to get 90% of it out. The bottom 1/2" wasn't able to be repaired due to the way the fender comes together. Overall, I'm happy with the results. I'll post up pictures once the weather gets a little better. Cost was $80.
