Question 06 Legacy R160

Looking for some legacy input,

So I have an 04 STi motor and tranny swap in my 03 wrx from 10K now and blew out my 3.90 rear diff. The one that gave out was out of an old impreza and I didnt have much faith in it.

So my question is, I have been searching and have a R160 out of a 06 legacy with a manual transmission. I dont want to take the Diff completely apart to check the ratio, but I need confirmation that this diff is a 3.90 and not a 4.11. I took the rear cover off and the ring gear does say 39:10, but i have no idea what the ratio from the pinion is.
Thanks.

I looked at this last night and figured that fou could find it on ur own. You answered your question in your first post. The pinion goes with the ring gear. 39:10 is the same thing as 3.9:1.0
