Default Airbag Swap Question

I have a 98 rs and i am finishing swapping a complete 02 wrx into the rs. Everything from rear end, to transmission, engine, dash, wiring harness, steering column..., etc. Would i want to use the airbag from the wrx even though i just swapped EVERYTHING over? I could be completely off here but would it be a bad idea to put airbags from one car to another like that in a swap not knowing much about airbags at all? Could the airbags come out at a different angle than originally anticipated because of the difference in vehicle and slight changes in the positioning of both driver and the wheel itself? It seems to all match up but i am thinking full harness will do more for me than an airbag? Any input would be great as i want to finish the wiring and put it back together , but am still on the fence on this. Thanks,

Jeff

Yeah, the dimensions of the GD and GC are close, but nobody can say for sure how they will perform in the GC since they were not designed or tested for that chassis. Rather than play crash test dummy for the swap community I opted to pull the entire airbag system from my swap. Saves a good amount of weight so that's a plus.

The most important thing in a crash is wearing your seatbelt. If you're doing that, airbags will not make a huge difference.

Sounds like i was thinking correctly then. It looks like i am going to do no airbags and just add in harness and seats. Thanks for the input, if anyone else has anything to add that would be great. Otherwise i am just going to opt to take the airbags out.
