Hoping to get a touch up tune once I get the rest of the pump gas out of my tank, and the stations switch to true E85 for summer. Should be a few more ponies left to be had. For anyone considering E85, go for it! You can see the gains I got over a normal Stage 2. Pulls soooo much stronger now, and the power band is great

*Disclaimer: Virtual Dyno on the Dynojet setting reads pretty high. Figure about 330WHP/360WTQ on the Airboy spreadsheets or COBB's Mustang dyno. The car gained 50WHP and 40WTQ over Stage 2 with the E85 tune.

With true E85 and a touched up tune, I don't think 350WHP on the Airboy dyno is out of the question. But for now, I am very happy with a 50WHP gain over Stage 2!

I will be visiting cobb in the near furture for the e85 mod how does your dealership treat the mods? I am wondering what mine will say about the e-85

Thanks everyone. The car feels great. Haven't been to the dealer since before Stage 1, so I don't know what they'll say.

Torque is the best part. E85 seems to give me plenty of it. The torque seems to spool up just as fast (even though the peak is higher) and holds strong for a long time.

I'm confused by the title, are you saying it's a stage 2 with an E85 tune?

I'm digging the gains you got from the full set up. I love E85, just wish it was more readily available.

Think of it however you like. Stages don't really mean anything. Just look at the mod list I have in the post.

My first post was Stage 1, my next one was Stage 2, and then the "Stages" kind of disappear after that. I just added on to what I had called my last tune because I felt it was better than nothing. Oh well.

Congrats on the Great Numbers, I have one station that has E-85 up here and it's almost 50 miles away. I'm hoping in the future E-85 will be more readily available.

i had a e70 tune on my 09 WRX running a green hta and im sure there was some power left on the table with the amount of boost i was running.

looks good though, are you thinking about going EWG? header/up-pipe combo? inlet? less restrictive cbe? i know 350 whp/400 wtq isnt out of the question on a "normal reading" dyno like cobbs.

i was also wondering about the weight of the car the last one says like 400 over what the car weighs stock, any reason why?

okay i think this is the big tall white dude with the 2011 sedan??? if so it me with the SSRs . . . whats up . . . . .

but yea FYI, if you take that car to cleo bay with any mods they will automically deny it, they wanted to tell me my aftermarket turbo on my 09 WRX was the reason my AC was going out

theyre dicks and fukcing stupid, i wont even go to them for windshield washer fluid because knowing them they'll fukc it up

This is all I had planned for now. I do think 350WHP/400WTQ is possible on a dyno like COBB's, but I really don't know what would give me the best bang for my buck after this point. Might start considering some more minor stuff after I see how the tune ends up on true E85. Weight is for 2 full grown adults in winter clothes and a bunch of tools from installing my injectors.

Yea i know cleo bay is some money stealing bastards and do a horrible job and yes Pedro this is the big tall white guy with the sedan. I am also good friends with miguel and jay. I used to have the 2003 blaack bug. I sold you some hellas remember? When i come back your helping me pick out some coilovers and then i am gonna pay you to set it up haha.....xluben I noticed in your build thread you wired the gauges though the wheelwell...how hard was that to do? Also never heard on your top mount is it holding up for you? if so i will be getting me one . Its also nice to see that rallysportdirect is more interested in your car then thier sti haha.

Going through the wheel well was pretty darn easy. Once you get the fender liner back there is tons of room to work. Top mount is Perrin knock off. It is a really tight (like the Perrin). I had to add heli coils to the BPV mounting holes in the TMIC.

Injectors and fuel pump are needed to account for the added fuel flow needed. TMIC and BPV need to be replace on the 08+ WRX's if you want to run more than 18psi or so of boost.

^Thanks man....I planned on going with the perrin top mount...do you think that is the better way to go? I planned on running the COBB BPV or the Perrin Bov. I am sure i can get some help some the subie guys in texas (not really mech. inclined haha).

I recommend the helicoil on the tmic bpv/bov's mounting holes.

and yes, just injectors and fuel pump, and a tune for e85.
