Default Help: Oil or some other spray on hose near intercooler

Hi all.

Hopefully someone can help.

I have a 2012 wrx. 15000ks.

I have found what appears to be a spray of oil or something on a line that looks to go in the the brake master cylinder right near the turbo. (Left hand drive, in Australia).

The hose seems to clip on to the intercooler and goes in to the master cylinder. Covered in a splash of something that looks to be oil.

What is this hose? Any ideas what this would be from?

Thanks in advance

You need to host file through a web host photo bucket, or something similar. Then insert the embedded URL here.

You can only just see the splashes of fluid on it. Also the hose clamp looks slightly discolor red or rust or something. Any help appreciated

That's the brake booster vacuum hose. The other end goes into the top/back of the intake manifold. Any oil on there is splashed or leaked from something else since that hose only holds air

Since your rhd I really don't know. Do your power steering hoses run up by there? They have a tendency of seeping oil. From the picture it really doesn't look wet enough to worry about

Yeah. It's right above the turbo, not too far from the intercooler, possibly near power steering line. I can see wht ever it is splashed on that hose and the master cylinder but can't see it anywhere else
