Default Replacement front rotors for 91 Turbo

What other Subaru (pref. with larger rotors) fot on my BC5 chassis?

Mine need to be replaced, and I figure I mind as well go for the biggest possible for aesthetic reasons.

These must fit under the stock 15 inch turbo wheels though

thanks!

See what the outbacks have....

You're pretty much limited since you want to stay with 15" wheels. If you had 16" you could go with the 11.4" WRX rotors & calipers.

Buy some stock rotors & have them cryo-treated www.onecryo.com $20 per rotor.

That'd be probably the cheapest option, then just get some good pads. The rotors will be a lot more durable with the cryo treatment.

Default I dont know exactly what wheels......

you have but the WRX/OB/Legacy GT brakes(11.4") may well fit under them. If you know some nearby with a WRX, pop one of your wheels on and see if they fit. There is plenty of clearence under the 16s and I know the will fit under some 15s. The four pots will even fit under some 15s.

Anything 10.9" and smaller will obviously fit, as that was the diameter of the stock front units. I'm uncertain as to whether the 11.4" brakes will fit, but i'd say it's worth a try.

I really don't think you can go much bigger than RS or OB-spec under the 15's. I had next to no clearance when I was running the stockers......

Default Dude!

I hate to be a dick and all, but you're the vendor; you should be the one answering these questions, not asking!

order some stock, try them out, then let us know what you've found out. If they're too big, sell them as upgrades, if they're too small, return them to the vendor.

Adam: the RS brakes are SMALLER than the stock Legacy Turbo rotors, and probably thinner as well.

Why 15"?

You can get replacement rotors from Autozone for pretty cheap, why not do that?

JGrahn - I don't know about you, but I am not in the practice ordering stuff that "might" fit and returning it if it doesn't..I like to know it WILL fit, otherwise, it is just a waste of my supplier's and my time. Plus, these guys ar ehte Legacy experts: nned to know what to do, what not to do on your RS or WRX, then I am the one to talk too, but for other Subaru's, I am admittedly a bit in the dark!

DLC - we fitted my MY99 rotors yesterday..same exact size as the ones that were on there, and the RS rotors are thicker too.

I wanted them to fit the stock 15's as I intend to use them (with Blizzaks) for the winter assuming I keep the car.

For now, I got a set of gold MY98 RS rims and 205/55/16 Yokohama A520's

Perhaps it was the MY98 that had 10.5" front rotors, and they switched in 99.

Regardless, that's good information anyway.

I need to get some WRX wheels and serious snow tires this season, as Ecsta 712s aren't snow tires. Granted, my car was basically FWD last winter with the tranny going south, and the 5MT works a lot better, but there's no comparison between an AWD car on summer tires and a FWD/RWD car on true snow tires, much less an AWD on serious tires.
