I put my wheels on today. I got the 18's in green, and I went with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. Then I got purple lug nuts to complete the Incredible Hulk look.

Anyone have a pic of these in silver? For some reason TR has them on 'closeout', even though they are new?

got the black ones on my 11 wrx, with conti extreme AS..... love them for the winter.

very tough to balance, MUST use hunter road force balancer. Tire rack said they balanced them but it was shaky steering wheel as soon as i put them on!!!

and with the conti's were 2lbs or so lighter than stock wheel..

and, they look awsome against the swp paint.

Tough to balance? Wierd... did the tech think it was the wheel or the tire or the mounting...?

It was probably the tires. Some tires don't like to balanced. Some aren't made as well as others.

Ya must be the tires. Cause the Subaru dealership balanced mine in like 5 min. No shake even at 150km/hr +

I like these a lot. I've got a 2011 DGM hatch, so it came with 235/45 tires. I'd like to move to 18-inchers purely for looks. What do you think of the quality of these overall?

I got these in 17x7.5 Gold with 225/45/17 V12 Evos. Liking them so far. The blue center caps are growing on me, didn't like the look of them at first.

I HATE the blue center caps, I was going to order the black ones and black lugs. It would look a lot better since the car is silver, but I just picked up a blue WRX, so I will be keeping them, and am thinking blue lugs.

*EDIT: Mine are 18x8 with a 48mm offset and 225/40-18 Yokahama Prada Spec 2s, they fit pretty much flush on the 06 wagon. I did NOT have to do ANY fender work, and the car is lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs, which are just over an inch drop.
I will be transferring the same setup, wheels, tires, and springs to the 04 WRX sedan. I'm thinking I will need spacers, since I want pretty much the same fitment. How big do I need? I was thinking around 20mm...

I looked on tire rack and it doesn't pop up for your vehicle so my guess is it probably doesn't. But the sparco drift or RTT524 do. They're 17x8 though. Don't know how big you wanna go.

just curious why did you go 225/40 instead of 235/40? You took some of your width away.

I would assume because 225/40/18 is closer to the tire diameter of 225/45/17 than 235/40/18 is.
