Well I'm assuming he wanted minor stretch of the tire. 235 tire is natural for 8 inch width. My 17x8 had 235/45 stock from factory.

He didn't take any width away. The narrow bodies come with 225/45R17 from the factory. Not 235/45r17 like your widebody.

Oh I see. My bad. I totally forgot that the 11's came an inch wider than the others. I stand corrected lol.

More power to you if you do it yourself, but there is a company that sells pre-cut strips of vinyl for it. That's what I have on mine.

Do you know where to find it or the name of that company? I would love to buy some. I've been wanting to do that since I bought the car. Much appreciated.

Im about to order a set for my silver bugeye. Im pretty set on the red but cant decide on18's or 17's. Im lowered on eibachs/kyb right now but thinking about switching to coilovers to even out the front.
Opinions on 17's compared to 18's?

18's would look a bit better IMO. That's what I have.

Not this question again.. Do whatever you want, 17s are usually lighter, but 18s are bigger. It's your call. Do what we you want it. It's a preference and doesn't really make a difference other than looks and weight.
