Project II

I miss the GCF wagon wing I had on my previous car, and the stock WRX Wagon Wing is a bit tame IMO.

Thanks......I got the 1st layer of fiberglass on last night, and it came out really well. Hopefully it wont take too much more besides trimming/sanding to get it ready for finish bondo.

Side Project!

After the install of the Process West TMIC two weeks ago I have noticed far too many bugs blasted on it. So after a week of looking for some quality mesh that would not block 50% of the air flow I found this at Lowes.

...........Back to work on the Wing!

looks like your "beater" is coming along nicely. Wish I had better luck with my wagon.

What is that shift light thing? All I see is the cigarette lighter plug. How does it work?

Looking forward to see how the wing turns out.

The Cig plug is to let you use it in multiple cars or you can hard wire it into the ele system and the tach wire from the speedo sensor. Im not super happy with it at the moment cuz its only wired in to power as if it were plugged into the Cig Outlet. It blinks kind of randomly for no reason...? but does work great at the set 5200-5500-6200-6500 RPM light settings. Im hoping when its wired into the speedo it will work just fine and loose the random blinking.
The STi cluster has a Tach Light in it too with a "beep" alarm that sounds at a settable shift point you want.

I do wish I could get the outside temp sensor installed for the cluster but it looks like its not going to happen ....at least according to the wiring diagrams and from what ive found from others who did get it to work its a very extensive wiring install with resistors and what not IMO its not worth the time when i have the dash clock with temp ....and it will only read in Celsius unless I unsolder and reprogram a prom chip in the cluster itself...ya rite

Yes its taking a while to complete, I had to step away from it for a week just cuz I was loosing the drive to deal with it. Hopefully I'll be back on it this coming week and it will be ready for some paint...?

I do have another few bits I need to post up pics of like the SPARCO wheel and NRG quick hub setup I just put in, along with the PPG 1-4 Helical trans I just scored for dirt cheap!!!
