OK...so i bought a wrecked 02 WRX. the wreck took out most everything from the headlight back to the strut tower. The frame is ok. What I need to know is what years of impreza will work as a donor car? Thanks

use the search function...otherwise people will treat you like a little kid and not help you. Do your own research and after that if you can't find anything search for a thread that someone already posted. Your car is 10 years old. You are not the first to buy a wrecked 02 subaru.
good luck being a nooby on Nasioc. |

there was a guy in the tristate board selling an 02 wreck with a good front end. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2136834
I've seen some front end swap threads around, try searching for them, maybe it will give you an idea if you can use 04+ clips. |

That's rrreeeaaalll helpful. ![]() You could put a lot of that car's parts into a 98-01 Impreza and essentially build a 2.5rst. Or you could swap it into an 02-03 regular Impreza. Or, find a regular 02-03 Impreza that took a hit in the rear and make a fraken-car. I've worked with SuperRupair out of Colorado before and I think they're a reaklly good source for used Subie parts. Here's a link to their site and contact information: Linky. And, because there's trolls about... You'll need that luck that KoP wished you. NASIOC is a lousy place to be a newb at because there's so many Subaru burners that have talked about everything a million-and-one times already. But there's a lot of good info here too, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. |
