650 hp modified CTS-V against a 485 hp stock GT-R... what do you think is going to happen?

However, the CTS-V only won by a tenth, and the quarter-mile time that they got for the GT-R, while good, was definitely far from the best we've seen. Lame advertisement by Hennessy, but still a pretty fast wagon. Can't really say many bad things about an 11-second family hauler.

Kind Of stupid. Of course the cts-v would won. But by only a tenth. Hennessey should be ashamed. 170 hp difference and only a tenth... That sad. On the plus side, the gtr look amazing!

That's really stupid even with a respectable margin. .1s and 2 mph?

Buddy has a generation 1 CTS-V, I think he's had three broken rear axles?

You think that's bad? Don't forget about when Motor Trend put the Super Snake (~700 hp) against the GT-R.

Early 1st gen CTS-Vs used the aluminum diff from the V6 models. GM has updated, and the new one is quite bulletproof.

But yeah, this video is crap with the drag radials.

hmm. . . seems pretty pointless. But they are both very practical vehicles at basically the same price-point.

The 2mph thing is a pretty big deal. I know the V is RWD vs. AWD, but the extra weight accompanied by the wagon style (less aero) and it's able to pull away top end. That's good.

Wow! I was amazed at the result! By result, I mean somebody actually receiving a car from Hennessey.

Wow people get their panties in a wad easy.

It's a slushbox station wagon pulling away from a GT-R. That's pretty cool, IMO.

This video basically proves that Cadillac is the better company than Nissan, and that the GTR is a piece of **** because it was pulled on by a five seater with room for a pack of wolves in the back. How could you ever buy a Nissan product after watching a display like that?

The point is, it's a really fast station wagon. That's pretty cool.

Does that make the Caddy any slower or allow the GT-R to carry a bunch of crap? The video is just to show you that they made a fast station wagon.

Yup. Definitely didn't look/sound like launch control. Plus, who the **** runs drag radials on a station wagon?

Idiotic comparisons are idiotic.

This just in:

A weasel duct-taped to a rocket-powered skateboard towing a little red wagon (for hauling lots of stuff) is faster than a stock Japanese Bobtail with butter on its paws. News at 11.

Funniest part is they tried to show the price "difference" of the caddy being cheaper. I doubt he included the labor on that price. How about warranty? A car down with almost 200hp, no drag radials, probably cheaper and didn't use launch control lost by .1 and I wonder how many runs it took to get that .1.

You know that wasn't the only run if all they got was .1 difference.
