guess I'm just used to all the bros who just want to slam their car to the ground and put 215s on 10" wheels asking about coilovers for that purpose. There seems to be an influx of them on NASIOC lately.
And Swift springs shouldn't settle

I think we are all too used to that. I much prefer what youve got goin on, though its gotta be really harsh for street use. Is it exclusively for autox?

ah, but that's where the high(er)-end struts come in. It rides as-good if not better than my old stock struts with RCE yellows setup. I've heard people on 7/6 rates say these feel better than stock. Can I tell it's got high spring rates? ya, but it's easily streetable and a blast to drive. This is my daily driver Except for big potholes, I don't even notice them. On my old bugeye I ran BC coilovers with 10k/8k rates and they were HARSH - barely streetable. It's all in the dampening. TiC knows what they're doing

Nice, yeah, I guess I've come to assume that high spring rates always equal a harsh ride. I guess that's not necessarily true.

how do you like the vorshlag v2 plates? i'm in the market for new camber plates. how much caster do you have? do you have an alk installed?

are the wheel spacers for tire or front caliper clearance? the 17x10 +38 rpf1s don't require spacers but i've heard the 18x10s but i'd like to confirm.

awesome setup

First race on the new setup is tomorrow, so I'll let you know, So far the plates are awesome. They come with their own upper spring perch with a built in spherical bearing (which is supposed to be the best in the business, yada yada). Looks strong as hell, really well made, and shorter stack height than most on the market. You also can't beat Vorshlag's customer service.
I don't have an ALK - not legal in BSP class.

Originally for caliper clearance, though they look like they might not even be necessary - haven't tested that theory though.
You're correct on the 17x10 vs 18x10 +38s. Drew (T3h_Clap) has confirmed that in the past as well.
