LOL, that's an expensive gift!

You should just drop the spring on yours, since, as stil2stock said it's not like lowered cars are performance oriented.

Ok, I'll be the one to derail this thread. Prove your fact, or go troll someplace else. Performance orientation is subjective you can't prove it as a fact.

My car is too low I feel that its performance oriented, its certainly not gas economically oriented, and it allows me to outrun civics and V-dubs all day (me being funny). So prove that it is not performance oriented. This is obviously opinion based.

Choose your words wisely, because I think what you meant to say is that it is not as performance capable as others.

Once you go so low, yes, you loose a lot of performance for cornering--this is a fact. Now people are just trying to nitpick words in order to get all huffed up about the lowering comment. To each their own, if you want super lowered for looks and "performance" then go right ahead. Me, I do a lot of autocross and will eventually graduate to HPDE and I'll be keeping with near stock ride height.

+1 for this.

DO what ya want, but me personally I like tires that fit right, hanging 1+ g's in a turn and not scraping and destroying my car on every pothole and driveway entrance.

Went with minimal drop for that reason, and I can dislocate your kneecaps I corner so hard.

I find it hilarious that we make fun of his car's "filthiness" because if I'm honest, a solid day of driving/chores going into a night, and my car can look the same way. Night=bugs; I hate it so much.
