Good looking out, but if you are talking about a TD04, that is smaller than my stock VF40. I'll prob be looking for a VF52 if in fact it is the turbo.

Oh the joys of owning a Subaru...noticed my throw out bearing squealing like a pig leaving work today. Went away after a few minutes, but ugh. Guess its common on 08+ wrx. Guess ill have to crank up the tunes for the first few minutes of each drive!

Are you sure it's the throwout bearing? If it's noisy, you should only hear it when you press in on the clutch pedal.

That's when I hear it. When the clutch is half engaged. Didn't hear it at all today so I'm guessing it had something to do with the rain and moisture from yesterday.

Oh, okay. There must have been a little rust in there. My front rotors were making a nice scraping noise when I left for work this morning too. I guess they got rusted from all the rain.

Around 11k. Apparently I'm lucky. A lot of people have got it way earlier than that.

No worries, I appreciate you wanting to help. Luckily its not the turbo!

The problem became pretty obvious when I looked in the day light. The hose that connects to the blue nipple at the T connection behind the intake manifold, near the wiring harness, had popped off completely.

I still do have a slight leak at the turbo connection though.. I can hear a high pitched whistle when coming onto boost from that area that is pretty noticeable. The turbo flange that comes with the process west has a slight angle to it, and I think I may have put it on backwards (faces slightly toward passenger side right now). Also going to loosen the clamp on the cold side at the IC to get more slack in the hose to press down and hopefully get a better, more even, seal on the turbo flange.

Forgot to mention we added a GrimmSpeed master cylinder brace, which surprisingly did firm up the spongy pedal feel of the brakes. Not night and day, but certainly noticeable.

Looks really good Brad, nice decision on the wheels!

In other wheels news, I really don't feel I need this winter wheel set I picked up a while ago... Sport Edition wheels with Blizzak WS50s. Probably 5/32nds or 6/32nds tread left.. will have to look. 5X100 of course.
