One thing we've talked about doing forever is having a mini-cruise to that one member's house for a big old cookout. Maybe even make it an install day as well.

Maybe one of these Friday nights (or nix that and choose Saturday), instead of just seeing who shows up for the weekly meet - we plan to have said mini-cruise to cookout.

Sounds like a plan. We just have to figure out when.

Oh, BTW, did you know that your third brake light is stuck on? I noticed it when I was following you out of the park Friday night.

Interesting... I need to check the wiring. I wonder if it's stuck on when the lights are turned off as well.

If not, that would give you a big clue as to what's wrong, particularly if it doesn't come on at all with the lights turned off.

Found that visor thing Dave. I think a cold six pack would make for a good trade.

Most likely it tastes better than the "original" Natty...
National Bohemian beer, more commonly known in Baltimore as Natty Boh.

Did we get hail in town again today? It looked pretty nasty towards town around 4:30 tonight, but we didn't get a drop of rain at GE, at least not by 5 PM. It looks like Ruckersville's getting nailed right now, tho.

Scooby specialist(s) in Cville?

I know/trust Cville Imports, Coles, and I've heard good things about Summers. I'm getting sick and tired of this damn hesitation. And we all know what happens to people with car ADD when things start to piss them off.

Is it all the time, our just when you are in the middle of accelerating and back off then it dies for a second?

I'd be down, since I can never make it to Friday night meets.

Instead of rehashing the whole thing, this is easier:

hrm. the only other thing that i can think of that wasn't mention in that thread are the coilpacks. i know the 02-05 will misfire and lag if those are going bad, but your car has so few miles on it. my original guess was going to be ol/cl fueling bug but you have an accessport so that's out.

granted, the only things i know about are things that have happened to my, or friends cars, or i read on the forums. i haven't heard of this issue before.

after reading around, it sounds like it could be anything. coilpacks, bad wastegate, o2 sensor, tear in the turbo inlet pipe, clogged injector. one guy even said it was a wet distributor cap

do you have the most up to date AP map? if you take the oil cap off when its warm and let it idle, does any smoke come out?

Updated AP maps. Haven't taken the oil cap off at warm idle.

I wish I could host, but I've got too many of those darn tiger-stripe mosquitos hanging around. "The Official Insect of Belmont"

lol

I could think of "other" official insects of Belmont, but I doubt very seriously it would be a politically correct comment.
