More proof that Apple products are so proprietary: they don't even count pages the way the rest of the world does.

So it looks like cops can and occasionally do pull over enthusiasts purely on discretion as to what is "louder" than stock. So to try to fly under the radar with my Cobb TBE I'm think of thermal coating my cat back section black before I move to Seattle. Anyone know someone who does it in town?

Remove it and use hi temp black paint. That's what I did on my old WRX and never had a problem after that. Did it on the autox beater civic too in case I have to drive anywhere. Aslong as you scuff the surface lightly with a Scotch brite pad and take your time it looks great and lasts.

FWIW as long as your exhaust looks fairly stock, isn't super loud, and you don't drive like an ass you really shouldn't have any problems.

I got pulled over last night for a headlight being out and the cop said nothing about my exhaust.. which has 4 tips and was burbling at idle the whole time. He did ask if my taillights were tinted but I didn't know what he was talking about .

Anybody interested in a S204 PU ebay lip for 06-07 WRX? I have one BNIB that I was going to modify and install on my legacy. But my driveway is pretty steep to the road + I could use the cash, so I don't think I'll put on another lip for a while.

$50 takes it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/V-SPEC-06-07...35626930383417

Saw a 2010/11 WRB STI southbound on RT 29 as I was turning into GE this morning. Also saw him turning onto RT 250 at Pantops last Sunday.
Anyone on here?

So I wont be able to make this Friday due to my wife being out of town for the weekend...therefore me and the kid will be hanging out all weekend. But I was going to propose since I will be most likely sitting around all weekend and it looks like its going to be nice (60 sat and 66 sun) I will wash and possibly wax the car. If anyone wants to come over and do the same your more then welcome. I have basic washing materials (microfiber mit, turtle wax) and beeeeeeeeeer. Driveway is plenty big to fit multiple cars...just let me know!

I know it..Dave said he wasnt tuned for a fmic so that definitely made sense to switch back. Just better on subarus unless a **** ton of piping is eliminated. I'm pretty stoaked to feel the difference.

Ohhhhhhhh man, you will love it That first drive after switching back from FMIC is a blast. Turbo response is wayyyy faster - approx 400 RPMs faster in my situation.

DurtyB - FMIC = longer distance for air to travel = turbo lag++

FMIC = good for big turbo + big PSI, but not great for DD/stock turbo
