Default WRX on KSL; Worth it?

Hey I have a co worker that is thinking about getting into the Subarus. Just wanted some opinions on this one:

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&n...iew&ad=4105853

Seems a bit risky to me. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Glenn.

I would be very cautious about it. Being a Subaru nut myself, I want everyone to have a good experience with them. This car sounds like it would be a pain in the ass.

it's a toss up. it would be worth having someone check it out thoroughly. do a compression/leak down test on the motor and find out what's going on. keep in mind also those trans are known to be fragile and depending on how big "big turbo" is, it could go. i wouldn't do anything until at least a compression/leakdown was done though. sounds like it's running way too rich from what he says.

If he wants a problem free daily driver, then probably not the best choice.

I think its capable of putting all power to a single wheel as well for minimal power transfer loss.
