rs headers on 1.8?

will the rs headers fit on a 1.8 i read where someone is putting on the rs headers on their 95 1.8

actually yeah i did start realizing that last night ive done a few searches but dont get the answers im looking for so i either email someone personally or post, what can i say im a newbie to the sube

I remember seeing a picture of stock jdm headers side by side of 1.8l & 2.0l na headers from gc8's.....I gotta go find the mag. The jdm header for the 1.8l in japan looks just like the RS header. What we SHOULD get is the jdm stock header for the 2.0l na. On some of those bad boys, they are 4 into 2 into 1. Isn't Subaru wonderful?-Scu

Cinder, look under your car. Do you have a single exhaust pipe coming out of each head, or dual pipes coming out of each head? If you have dual pipes, the RS header will fit. If you have single pipes, only Borla ever made a header for you. Don't know if they still produce it. Not too many OBS owners looking for more power...

The later 2.2l engines have single port exhaust so the borla header isnt just for sports.

But yeah you are right. Dual port definatly has more options. Luckily my legacy has dual

Speaking of which the new design exhaust from subaru REALLY sucks! I just test fitted a 2000 2.5rs header and it fit fine, but that 180 degree bend is lame. My old header has no bends even close to this sharp.

its late out now and i really wanna know someone what year did the dual ports start in ? , ill go check in the morning anyways
