Looks like it belongs in there.

John, could you do me a favor though? You have an Auto right? And that's why the down pipe hit the tranny. Otherwise there's about 2" of clearance.

Yup, I have the auto. The downpipe had to be be made about 1.5" longer and angled a bit. Otherwise, everything went in just fine!
