I had a pretty good one tonight.

I was taking a young lady out on a first date tonight, so of course I take my Subie instead of my DD. We needed to pick up a part quickly for her car that I promised I would help her with if she would let me take her out. So we pull into a local PartSource to get what she needed for her car. As we pull into the parking lot my headlights catch a white EVO in the far corner of the lot. She immediately points at it and starts laughing "I'll bet you hate that car don't you?" I almost asked her to marry me right there!

For those about to flame:
Yes I respect the EVO. But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Well, how did the rest of the date go?

From just that... she sounds like a keeper... there are very few women who know about the STI/EVO rivalry... but I'd need to know more to see if she really is a keeper.

Ahh, I remember buses...they used to be yellow and not that bad, then they became light blue and turned into a place where weird people throw up.

So a benefit of living in Canadeh is getting the first real snowfall in mid-January?

Green Bay got several inches on Thursday, and it's mostly still there.

I has no funny phrases because my car's under the wrench and waiting for new snow tires.

No snow here still. Last year was a 'blizzard.' So far nothing.

Tonight I drove around the valley with a good buddy and two ladies. Every bump or turn thy would make woo or eek noises. My buddy would say " don't worry. It's a Subaru." Then to make fun of me, he'd say, "those australians really know what they're doing."

Just trying to stay a little on topic.

My Girlfriend was telling me about how her guy friend loves Subaru's and that when she told him I got one he thought it was cool and he asked what kind, and my girlfriend not knowing the models she naively said an xti, so he probably assumed sti, and I have the exact opposite. And when she asked me what kind I told her 2.5i and then she told me the story and I jokingly started to yell at her saying "AN XTI? THERE'S NO SUCH THING!!!"

It went really well Damon. I'm taking her out again tonight and next week sometime. Thanks for asking. I explained the rivalry to her after her after the comment and she laughed even more.

If by "need to know more" you are asking for pictures, you can jump in a hole. Y'all ain't gettin any! Eh!

O ya. Been watching carefully. I ignored the thread for the first day. Then finally read it and could barely believe the Ultimate Trolling going on.

On Topic. Those pictures he posted in themselves were one of the funniest things i've ever seen about a subaru.
