i laugh when kids twirl their finger thinking my car is a fwd or rwd, and my favorite is when they come upto you knowing the car is an awd and asking to do a smoke show at a gas station or crowded parking lot. are kids getting dumber and dumber these days?

RE92's aren't even bad tires --- typically you hear horror stories because some moron goes "I got AWD, BIATCH!" and slides into the ditch from an off-ramp.

Bad would be an understatement. They're horrible.

When I had my first bugeye WRX I was driving to work in the winter. It was really snowy and we had a good build up. At least two feet on the ground. There are a couple spots on the way where the snow drifts really bad across the road.

I come up on the worst drift and it's really deep. There's a lifted Ford truck stuck deep in the snow drift.

Me: Hey, everything all right?
Him: Yeah. Just waiting for my buddy to come pull me out.
Me: If I had my tow sling in trunk I'd give it a try, but it's in my other car.
Him: Yeah right (snicker). You should probably turn around. If my 4x4 got stuck, there's no way you'll get through with that little thing.
Me: Yeah... Good luck, man.

I back up a little and aim toward the shallowest part of the drift. About 2 1/2 feet deep and just roll on through, barely spinning a tire. I look in the mirror and the guy is standing in my tire tracks with his hands on his hips shaking his head in disbelief.

I can just imagine how he told that story. The part he was stuck in was only a couple inches deeper. Lol

Friend pointed out a Subaru. I asked her how she knew. She said they all have something done to them, and they always stand out from the others. It was a WRB blob eye with wheels, suspension among other small things. I got a chuckle from it.

Was at a gas station and a girl and her boyfriend came out and she said " Is that thing in that cars hood necessary? " and he had to tell her that it's actually functional on these cars. I laughed a bit then left

So, this post doesn't really belong here, but it has alot more to do with the thread than half of the posts on this thread.

My bikes on craigslist as a wts/wtt. Someone texts me an offer:

him: Would you trade for a 96gt with upgrades and new paint?
me: do the upgrades include forced induction?
him: what you mean?
me:

I walked in a gas station today and was asked if my car was fast. I told them I was working on making 400whp. The guy replied by saying "Wow, that thing must not have any traction. How do you drive it in the winter?" It made me smile, and I simply replied "Its a Subaru."

And no Subarus.

The third one (from right to left) is an RSX. The Miata's wheels aren't necessarily messed up, his camber is effed though. Also, who said anything about Subarus being in the picture?
