This is from when I went beach driving last week.

Just driving down the beach (the beach IS the road) and some drunk guy turns around to see my little Impreza coupe, just cruising by.
When he sees me, he's just like "Hey, how the **** did that guy get here?"

I can understand his confusion, since I was THE ONLY car there, around all lifted trucks/jeeps. I still thought it was funny. A lot of people underestimate Subaru's AWD though.

I'm driving my brothers and one of their friends to the movies since I am their driver for the night (I'm watching the movie also).

So at a busy intersection making a right, I look in my rear view and see a large Dodge Ram with 3 kids (Age 17-18) in the front, I can see them laughing and I think I recalled them pointing at my car.

After the right turn, he passes me going very fast, and I hear a very loud and obnoxious exhaust (And very loud, couldn't hear mine anymore (Invidia N1 street), so he was accelerating pretty hard). He passes three more cars and cuts the last one off in order to make a right turn at another intersection, where he does not stop at the red light to make the turn.

I said to myself, I hope I don't have to deal with that or be near that truck again. Well once we get to the movie theater about 8 mins later (It's a large one and the parking lot is almost completely filled), I couldn't find a parking spot in one of the aisles in went through so I had to go on the road area directly in front of the theater.

I so happened to see that truck on the opposite side of the lane I was in and I get "Nice car. ******." Could have never guessed that

Sorry if I made you read that entire thing just for that, I'll make the next shorter.

This was about a week ago.
Me and my friend are approaching an intersection to make a right turn, and there is a newer Honda Civic with 2 guys (Guessing age 20-25) approaching to make a left turn which is about 2 lanes from us.

I looked at them cause I noticed both of them were looking at my car and noticed that they were smiling or laughing. As they were going into the lane that goes to make a left (so now 3 lanes from us), he slammed hard against the curb and rode on top until he turned and rode off, and it was a pretty hard drop.

Not sure if they were admiring the car or laughing at it, but the end result was a great laugh
Cliff notes please?

I was dropping my friend off home at 11:30 pm and walked and his mom said this:

Oh wow at first I thought a diesel truck was pulling into my driveway, I was scared because I never get company this late, nor do I know anyone with a diesel truck

me: nah I have a lil 4 cylinder sedan with a nice exhaust haha

oh and today I also go the, "I though that was a mustang bro" since when do mustangs have 4 doors?

From a friend who has never been in a wrx.

"Wow dude, is this thing supercharged?"

Me: "Nah but she does have a turbo"

"No man, I'm pretty sure its s/c. I can here it. Have you even looked under the hood? *Scoffs at me*"

And I just laugh the whole time till I pull over and show him.

Oh and I have another.

Wife the first night we got the car.

"What is that?"

Me: "what is what?"

"That sound? It sounds like its screaming. And what's with that vibration? Is that normal?"

Wife still can't believe its normal with that boxer rumble and vibration. Used to have a 2006 Altima SE-R. Just not used to it lol.

I usually get gas station attendants saying "rich woman!" and then asking for a tip. People always assume the car is more expensive than it really is.

New jersey might be the only state that requires them.

What?

Do you guys just pay at the pump everytime with debit/credit?

I see an attendant everytime. I also pay cash everytime too, so that's probably why.

I think were talking about different attendants... I don't mean the people inside the gas station, I meant the people that pump your gas and wash your windshield (like in back to the future)

Yea in NJ its state law that people pump gas for you and if they're nice and not busy they'll also wash your windows. They also don't work for tips.

Yup. It's very convenient when it's raining or snowing. Just sucks when you go to another state and wait in your car for 5 mins before remembering you actually have to do it yourself. and our gas is cheaper :P

Default Wanna trade?

I was filling up in Anthem, AZ at like 2 in the morning and a 1989 Trans Am pulled up alongside me and said "nice car bro, wanna trade?" I laughed it off but his face continued to be very serious, no way in hell would I ever trade my subie!

Ohhhhh lol.

Then in that case, I've NEVER seen one either. TBH I didn't even know there were gas stations that did that.

Oregon requires them, too. I just discovered this when I drove to Portland a few weeks back. I'm glad somebody warned me before I tried to pump my own gas! What a weird law.

I think it's a Union thing. Every time I stop in Jersey I always fill up, usually the gas is extremely cheap.

Wait.

You aren't aloud to pump your own gas?

Like, it's against the law?

O_o
