The only reason you see them on racers and whatnot is because everytime they win or are interviewd the sponsor drops a brand spanking new cap on their head for the advertisement, hence the flat brim.

Any normal person trying to keep the sun out of their eyes and be comfortable is gonna bend that brim.

My grandpa wears his pants hanging below his ass and makes sure his boxers are showing. If you wear your pants at your waistline, he calls you a ***** ******.

I have trouble believing that your grandpa dresses like a douchebag, pics or it didn't happen.

No one around here throws deuces or waves. Only ever seen 2 people that have, that's why I don't try as much.

Edit: I also wear a flat brim. Does that make 3 or 4 for this club? Lol

Actually I see a lot of old timers wearing flat brim hats. Honestly if you're a douchebag it don't matter how you wear your hat. You can wear no hat and people will still think you are a douchebag lol.

swapped trunk lids recently, coworker comes in...

"where is the drift wing?"
"gone, swapped it for a smaller spoiler, very common"
"how are you going to drift?"

*sigh* ....

I get "Is that your car?" a lot, I like to respond with no the real owner is in the trunk, it really kills my mpg with the extra weight but I can't find a decent place to stash the body.

^ Perfect response, but I would have stoped after "No the real owner is in the trunk..." and get all *wide eyed* and start to leaning towards them.

You guys like that?

Part of the reason I love my bugeye is because it stands out a little bit. IMO if you want someting that looks like a family car/gas getter, get a leggy. I think WRX's /STI/s should be very standout.

Also on topic. I once street raced with Pastrana.

And yes it was in a school zone and we were going over 9000.

But seriously I passed this guy B/C he was going slow and then he caught up to me. We drove fairly spiritedly for a while, but nothing too crazy. It wasn't till I got to the stage that I realized it was him. This was at the 2009/10 100 acre wood rally, but I can't remember which one.

He's actually pretty cool to talk to in person.

They can be made incredibly strong. www.goapr.com

I got handled by a GTi on the highway like I was standing still. Wife and I still laugh about it.

Bastard had a license plate 'FAPFAP' and I refuse to race anything with that license plate ever again.

I gave him the thumbs up though, he left me like stink.

Stage 2 protuned and a few other goodies here.

I'm always saddened that I never get any fun comments on the Subi and rarely get nods from other drivers. I'll flash a nod, wave, friendly honk, etc and rarely get any in kind. Maybe it's just where I live but even outside my area I get the same.
