Well, Maine has it's fair share of... people who probably belong in the South.... but we do have some serious Subie love up here in New England, thanks to all of the outdoors activities and snow storms lol.

You've never had truckers glare at you, untill you've driven your Subi here.

The yellow line is the road, that just happens to end on the beach. The beach is the ONLY road for a while lol.

Not a single other car the whole day I was there. Those truckers were so confused that my little impreza coupe could drive on the sand.

Want to go back sooooo bad.

I was at the Graveyard of the Atlantic right next to the Hatteras access, had summer tires on and an airpump, I really didn't want to risk getting my car stuck so I didn't try the beach, wanted to sooo bad though.

You would have been fine. I had summer tires. Just gotta air down a little, keep movement, and don't go into too deep of sand (ground clearance).

Next summer I want to go again, but venture farther north this time. I want to find actual sand roads with twists and turns. I would probably never come home.
