Few months later she comes back up with her new base model mini cooper hatch her husband bought her. She tells me "its probably twice as fast as my car, its one of the fastest cars out there". I smile and say oh yeah those are nice cars.

don't get me wrong I do appreciate modified minis and the mini coupe
Why would you lie and tell her its a Mustang? As oblivious as some people may be about cars, you have the option to be a douche, or not to be.

When I got to work in my STi my boss said that "he pays me to much".

Not really funny but coming out of the mouth of a guy that owns 2 Audi R8s I thought it was funny.

Good old Subaru dealership. The Subaru dealership in my town is owned by a Hyundai dealership so we go therefor all the parts we need. They're not too fantastic. It always take a week for the part to get in.

I called Subaru a province over to check their average rates for head gasket swap and the guy quoted it and actually told me I would be better of going some where that charges less.

I left out the fact that her aunt is a royal bitch and talks down to me every change she can. So that's why I decide to be a douche, I actually was being quite nice to her.

So let's go down to her level. Remember when you raise your kids to tell them that when someone is being mean to them the best thing to do is to be mean in return.

Why does every one try to make it a race to the bottom?

Went to the gas station the other day and it's a full service one (normally go because this older guy works there and he's awesome. nicest older guy you'd ever encounter just to shoot the $hit with) anyway, I get this new guy and he comes running (borderline full charge) up to my car like it was a race. Says to me "oh man, I love it when these cars come in" (it's an 09 wrx, nothing fancy done to it at all... I just keep it clean.) leans on over in my driver side, right arm up on the top of my door with his hairy @ss armpit almost in my face and starts point to the boost gauge and instrument bezel. "is that one of those 'pods' that tell you to SHIFT with the bright blue light when you're going too fast?!?!?" I said no, just a boost gauge. he says "oh man, I bet this thing is fast!, we should go to the drag strip sometime!" he filled my tank and then comes back to say "aiight boss, do somthin sweet on your way outta here" taps the door twice with his palm and struts away. 'Twas interesting to say the least.

Probably because he is an uneducated idiot who dropped out...and went to jail for possession of hardcore drugs. Not sure which one

Default Some people... Simply aren't subaru people.

So I'm on here cruising the threads and realize that I spend just about every free minute of my time on here. Thinking to myself "this is funny, im here more than any other site/social networks" I post a picture of the NASIOC logo to show my buddies what they're missing, and to my unamused surprise, this is one of the comment replies the my picture: "national rice burner assoc..?"

silly domestic Chev-Cav owners confusing Subaru with Honda

I find it funny a cav owner would say anything about a perfectly made import car (I say that because we all gotta admit like my ex girlfriend Subarus are insanely easy to work on.) Cav owners are like the most laughed at car people in the hobby

Perfect response would be: "Dude..... you drive a Cavalier." If he doesn't get that it's an insult, then unfriend him. He just doesn't get it.
