Not really subie related but you guys will appreciate this.
My friends and I are at a car show standing around my friend's 240sx talking about different experiences drifting in it when a guy comes up to us (must've overheard us talking about the drifting it can do) and just says:

"drifting!? HA can't do no driftin in a front wheel drive car, maybe you could pinch out a powerslide here and there, but definitely can't do no drifting!"

My friend: "uh do you know what kind of car this?"

The random guy: "yea! It's one of them nissan 240 rice burners!"

My friend: "okay and why would it not be able to drift? It is a rear wheel drive car. Always has been"

The random guy: "you serious? I thought these were fwd!"

My friend: "every single 240sx nissan has ever built has been rear wheel drive. Every. Single. One."

This guy just had no words and just nodded and walked away. This was a car show with mostly tuner cars? I could see maybe if he was a hot rod guy but he wasn't at all.. He looked like a civic owner. Just... Just plain dumb

Not sure what a Civic owner looks like (flat brim hat, all sorts of SWAG, and a YOLO tattoo?), but I wish most Civic clowns were dumb, then they wouldn't couldn't speak their retardation.

Wait, are you taking about civic owners? Or the new breed of Subaru owners, cause this is what every young kid I see driving a Subaru looks like. Yes I'm talking about you, you know who you are...

Speaking of Honda... Guy in an Acura TL, maybe a type-s, was asking about my car and the power it made and all. I told him around 300 (07 STi) and he seemed unimpressed. He then went on to blabber about how his made 305 and was giving me the implication that our cars were similar. I tried not to laugh, it was hard. Come on, a heavy V6 and an STi? If you've been in one of those TL's you know it doesn't feel like 305 hp.. Anyhow, that's my story. I found it amusing at the time.

Saw a bugeye for sale on local craiglist listings. It has a gaint tachometer mounted on the driver door panel, and LED lights everywhere. It was sad...

On the outside? Was it functional? Not that it makes it any better... In fact, it's probably a bad idea to let everyone know where you are in the rev range.

Why all the Civic haters, My brother in law told me just the other day that he was toying with a brand new 5.0 mustang gt in his 2013 civic si! Then he keeps on telling me about how the mustang got a jump on his bone stock civic and he still toyed with it!

Trust me I know he is full of crap, I laugh every time I hear him telling people this. I always wonder if the mustang driver knew he was racing him!

Hahah so funny... A stock brand new 5.0 makes about 200 more hp than a stock brand new si...actually almost double what the si makes

"New" 5.0s are no joke... I had one.

The number of Hyundai Velociter or whatever they are called that would try to rev at me or launch from red light to red light were unbelieveable. I only had one or two Civics mess with me. Lots of Porsche, BMW, and GTO guys though...

If I actually knew how to drag race, didn't have 19" wheels, and a automatic... I could easily have run low 12s (best I did was ~13.1) in the quarter without breaking a sweat. Most of the modded civics I seen showing up at the track never ran lower than a 14.

Because most civics at the tracks are just stock B's, with a intake and exhaust

Guy at work tells me that my hood scoop is for show and it's just needlessly slowing me down. I say there's an intercooler under it. And he just brushes it off and continues to go on about how a scoopless hood will make it faster. :-/

Take him to your car over lunch and pop the hood.
