Dropping off a new Crosstrek, that my company bought as a promo-vehicle, to get some decals at the graphic shop.
Front desk guy: does that car have a WRX mod?
Me: ?? no...they don't make those cars turbocharged.
FDG: Oh, so what does it have a V-8, a V-6?
Me: Flat-4
FDG: ahh..okay...

05 sti. Last week i detailed it very clean, (Aspen white btw). Yesterday's Chicago rain and storms made the streets muddy, but i had to get to work somehow. I get out and there is mud streaks down both sides of my car when i get out at work.

Brother: "The depends you been driving through left streaks behind".

Me: "I still have my dignity.."

I was on the fence between the wrx and sti but being as this is my DD, the wrx was the right car for me. I could not justify the extra cash in my situation, if I didn't have a weekend car I would of went sti.

Driving around town, decided to get on the gas a little just for a smile on my face. Passed a truck going about 80 and in the power band, stopped at the stop sign and the guy says (my vf39 stage 2 wrx btw) "wow that car is fast! What is that a v6?" Me "flat 4 turbo" him "oh wow! Sounds like a race car... You sure not v6?" Me... Unamused, "ya... I'm sure..."

I need a subaru in my life because of the crappy weather. Rain and snow is boring with fwd, miserable with rwd, and awesome with awd

Had my stock 2013 WRX full (me and three friends). We smoked a kid in his mid 2000s Honda, he pulls up at the next light and says "what do you have in that thing?"
I said "Three other people"
