^^^^pretty sure the title isn't "My Conquests as Fast and Furious extra". Besides if you didn't drive under a semi while making highway pulls your gay....just saying...

So my girlfriends brother is down to visit and brings along a friend (brotard). Let me first give you a small description for better visualization. In his 30's, flat brim sideways, giant snooky shades, shorts sagging and a wife beater shirt.

Brotard: OMFG DUDE!!! I need to drive this car. I need to be in this right now!!
Me: Uhhh....ya sorry (shakes head no)
Brotard: oh man is this thing ****ing sleeper or what! (hands are moving erratically and he is doing what appears to be a chicken type dance)
Me: Not really....
Brotard: Ahh bro!!! So sick man, does it sound like all the other Subaru's?!?!
Me: Yes...yes it does.

After that I just left, I couldn't take that **** anymore.

No, you were street racing. You were trying to accelerate to the speed limit faster than the guy next to you who was trying to do the same. Whether you drove for 5 hours or 5 mins, it doesn't matter, street racing is street racing. I really hope you get points for it ohhhh jack

Unfortunately you can. It's called exhibition of speed or something stupid like that.

That's what I tell people who ask me to race. "I'll race you to the speed limit" then they just leave me alone

Yes, you can get pulled over for excessive acceleration. Exhibition driving or reckless driving are the charges.

Oh, you have NO idea...I had to deal with that redneck brodawg for a 3 hour auto tech class everyday. What do you think everyone there talked about? Class of 20...import drivers: 1. Yeah, great well rounded class...

I quickly accelerated to the limit on the highway with a cop behind me and a cop next to me at the same time. Neither of them cared enought to pull me over.

Assuming you're driving a 2.5i like your profile says, you didn't accelerate very quick.

Perhaps the cop had to pull past him because he was going far too slowly?

Was it because they had just finished pulling you over?

Today at a gas station after I finished pumping, I went inside to pay and grab a soda and ran into someone I knew from a high school shop class...
Kid: Hey, is that your car? The Subaru?
Me: Yeah, the black one? (there were a bunch of cars there)
Kid: Yeah, that thing looks sick! Is it a stee?
Me: You mean an STi?
Kid: Haha yeah, uh, a buddy of mine told me it's said like that...
Me: He lied. But no, it's just an RS.
Kid: But isn't the hood scoop from an STi?
Me: Uhh...kind of. STi's didn't come to America until 2004. My RS is just a 2 door'd grocery getter with the hood and front bumper from an older STi.
Kid: Oh cool.
Kid: So it's still all wheel drive?
Me: Yeah.
*thinking this conversation went smarter than anticipated, kid drops the ball in 3...2...1...*
Kid: Aren't those new Bugatti's all wheel drive?
Me: Yeah, the Veyron?
Kid: Yes! Can your car go that fast?
Me: Just because my RS is all wheel drive like a Veyron doesn't mean it can go 250mph.
*pays for gas and soda*
Kid: I guess, but can the STi? It's gotta be close, I mean...both have twin turbos. Both have all wheel drive. And the Veyron also weighs 1000lbs more! That would be a cool race to see!
Me: Yeah dude...
Kid: Well, see ya!
Me: Yeah, bye.
FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU...

Oh dear lord...the kidiots...

Unrelated, but next word to get into Webster's dictionary:
kidiot; noun. (Kid EE uht). A person from the 1985+ generation who displays below average intelligence and lacking common sense, also representative of younger people who require all answers to questions spoonfed to them. See also: hellaflush. Origin: NASIOC, contraction of kid and idiot.

I once had someone try to tell me my own '92 Legacy L is AWD, because apparently ALL Subaru's are AWD. I guess all the times I've been under my car, I missed something.

Uhhhhh, correct me if I'm wrong, but it is...unless you converted it or something...and yes, all subarus are all wheel drive, with the exception of some really old ones.

herp de derp de derpity derp

there are a lot of fwd subarus....not to mention they used to use dual range trannys essentially making them a 4x4 instead of an awd vehicle.

the history of subaru....you are not well versed in it.
