driving with my brother roughly 2 months ago, the weather finally started to get pretty nice. People are all out in the yard and the birds and chirping and whatnot.

Anyways, my brother and I went for a short cruise. As I'm driving up through a small subdivision, my brother started to talk to me about selling the subaru and buying an Lexus ISF....nice car to say the least.

I start with my argument about winter driving and all that, and he's like, just get snow tires or a beater, and I was along the lines of keeping the subaru.

Get up to a stop sign and see a bunch of maybe 4-7 year olds playing baseball in the front yard....

4 yr old - "WHOAAAAA!!!!!"
6 yr old - "WHOOOOA I LOVE THAT CAR"

me - 'just smiling-'
brother - 'smirks'

i replied....."bet i wouldn't have got that in an ISF from little kids "

So back in 4th grade (2004-2005) I was talking to my friend Dillon, he was trying to tell me about cars.
Him- You ever hear of a Spoon engine?
Me- No what is it?
Him- It has something to do with Spoons.
Me-

I can't remember all of the conversation but then we got on the topic of how many cylinders a V engine goes up to.
Me- You know it's V6, V8, V10, V12 in most cars right?
Him- No it only goes up to V8.
Me-

Another...
Him- You know boost right?
Me- Yeah why?
Him- What goes psssssh?
Me- The blow off valve?
Him- Nooo thats not it, it's called something else.
Me- I'm pretty sure its blow off valve.
Him- OH it's called an aftershock.
Me-

Ahhh, the good old days when all I did was play Need For Speed Underground.

This morning an older guy driving one of those shuttle vans said to me, " your too young for that! And laughed.." I wouldn't say it was a funny phrase but it definitely put a smile on my face! (I'm 21 and have a lgt) plus theres no humidity this morning so my car was running great

Couldn't agree with you any more, Drew. Not only is NFS super ricey, it's also terribly unrealistic. Not saying FM3 is suuuuper realistic, but it's the closest I can get.

Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel + RennSport Wheelstand + FM3 = Closest I can get to driving a real Subaru (other than occasionally parking my mom's car).

On topic: I was talking with my uncle today about Subarus. Here's how it went:

Him: So, you only like Subarus because you can't afford a Porsche, right? (He was kidding.)
Me: I have to make realistic goals, I guess!
*pause*
Him: Subaru's BOXSTER engine is like the one in Porsches, eh?
Me: (About to say it's boxer, but yes, they are quite similar!) but he beats me to it.
Him: They're both horizontally opposed, right?
Me: Yes, and it's boxer by the way.
Him: Ohh, okay.
(He then continues to talk about how his plane has a horizontally opposed 6 cyl engine.)

I know, not funny. But when you don't drive a Subaru it's a challenge to get funny Subaru stories! I tried.

Thank you!

I could sell it... but I love it too much to do that. At least at this point in time, that is. I might put it up eventually and see if I get any big enough bites.

And you think my wheel is ridiculous? Wait 'till you hear about the rest of my room...

Haha yeah I know. But back then it was awesome. Not just ricing out cars but the free roam was pretty cool. Obviously forza is better lol. I play gt5 the most tho. It's pretty good too. I can't wait to get a wheel tho

To be honest, Need For Speed Underground 2 has a more realistic Boxer rumble than GT5.

a) Free roam is win in NFSU2.
b) I can't wait for FM4.
c) Dirt sucks. It's too arcadey.

The only time I played was when my friend brought his PS3 over. I must say, Polyphony did a MUCH better job at making Subaru's rumble than Turn 10 did. Subarus don't sound that great in FM3.
