At autozone today buying oil.....

Dumb Kid "So when you gonna tune that thing?"

Me "Umm when I need to again."

Dumb Kid "Oh well your tune now must not be that good, you didn't throw flame when you shifted pulling in."

Me " "

seriously what did I do to deserve such stupidity encircling me daily?

Some people's jealousy renders them incapable of speaking, causing them to vomit stupid phrases. Plus they can't handle the awesomeness of your car

This happened about a week ago at American Tire Co. while i was getting my car re-aligned. I was sitting in the lobby, when i notice this old man staring at my car. He enters the lobby, this is how the convo went;

Old Man : That paint job is excellent, how much did that cost ya?
Me : It's actually factory paint. (WRB)
Old Man : Oh really?! Man, that is nice.
Me : Thank you sir.
Old Man : Is that cold air intake from the factory too? (pointing at my hood scoop)
Me : Yes sir, but it's actually a hood scoop feeding air into the intercooler.
Old Man : That thing's turbo charged?
Me : Yep.
Old Man : Oh man, that must be one fast car.

Manager of America Tire Co. overheard our conversation and said;

Manager : Yeah, those cars are extremely fast.

I walked out there with a big smile .

Friend: "Whoa, do you have NOS in here?!"

Little boy in parking lot: "Look mom! It's the car from Grand Turismo 5! I have that one!"

I found that one pretty awesome.

Those were about my 08 WRX hatch. Haven't heard any comments about my 11 WRX sedan yet. Only had it for three weeks, so I am sure there are plenty to come.

He was so darn excited! He just stared. I should have unlocked it for him. I'm sure he would have loved sitting in his precious GT5 car.

Getting my freshly delivered tires mounted/balanced at the local Wallyworld(dont judge it was way cheaper than STS etc lol)

The "techs" working on my car(swapped rs) were actualy really nice.

When it was finished some tech that wasnt even working on it and looked like he just got out of prison got in my car and and I started to get a little nervous.
He got in, revved it up and tore ass out of the garage and proceeded to do a few figure eights like a maniac.

I go outside to get my car and hes like "Dayyyuum yo dis car gots some POWER!!!"
I was like yes it does now give me my keys.

my response would be to tell him that he just bought me another set of tires, plus an oil change at a shop of my choosing

Man if that was me and my car... I would have been pissed, and demanded some sort of explanation for the way he was driving my car. I have a hard time as it is letting other people drive my car, and if some prison looking douche got in and did that i would flip ****. Just sayin,.. U probably could have got something free outta that..
