Default Work done by Jason @ Innovative Garage Review

First off this is a thread thats going to be straight up, I am going to tell it to you as i see it.

Roughly two years ago I invested in some Tein Monoflex coilovers for my 07 WRX. I slapped em on there and slammed the car, I really enjoyed the feel of them even though I know I wasnt quite enabling them to reach their full potential. Over this last winter I decided to get a little more serious and ensure what I paid for was being taken advantage of.

I've always followed Jason's threads (DTC STI) here on Nasioc and thought they were entertaining and full of knowledge.

I hit him up here on Nasioc roughly 2 weeks ago, he got back with me in a very timely manner. We exchanged phone numbers and we scheduled an appointment.

I dropped it off on Monday, I was initially impressed with how professional he not only holds himself but the pride he has. That is definately the kinda person I want working on my car.

We went over everything we wanted done, what the car was going to be used for and how it should properly be set up.

We maintained a great line of communication during this process.

Today I received a text saying "How much do you weigh?"
What I am trying to express here is his level of determination and his level of excellence to get everything right.

He kindly explained to me what he had done with the alignment and coilovers in detail as I picked it up.

So I am off, initially I notice the turn in and response at the wheel is incredible, which is great for what I am planning on using the car for (Auto X, occasional track day)

Overall the suspension, alignment and everything feels alot more solid and I finally feel like I have a car that can "handle" what I can throw at it.

I can safely say that I walked out knowing more than I came in knowing as he explained everything.

He also emailed me the alignment report.
I will be posting pictures tomorrow Stay tuned

I very highly recommend Jason and his service to anyone out there, his positive attitude, level of work and experience will not leave you dissatisfied.

Thanks a bunch Jason

Sterling

Happy to help Sterling. Your car was great to work on. Meaning clean and well maintained, like Brody's. The tie rods turn easily. Coilovers clean and again easily turned. No salt build up or rust on ANYTHING. I love working on cars like this.

Sterling, your car is well on it's way to being a awesome and fun track car. Keep it simple and reliable!

Jason

I knew I forgot something. Sorry Sterling. After you get a chance to drive the car more give me some feed back on what you like or don't like about the setup. IE, If you want it more loose, tight? Let me know. It's a process and we can make small changes here and there to get it better.

I'll let you know after the first auto X, I took a gradual corner quite a bit quicker than normal and the car felt really really solid through out, I felt more in contact with the road (thats saying alot considering I am still on those pesky RE92's lol)

Hands down the best looking factory wheel made for the '02-'07 Impreza. adds to the "stealth" look... makes them wonder what you really are working with... Just please don't paint them black or gold... lol

Maybe one day. My wife hates Utah. Were thinking Seal Beach or Ventura California. But who knows. Maybe Utah for the rest of my life. One thing is for sure I am NEVER leaving MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK!!!
